Hello!

If you scan your inboxes, you should have an email from Hróðbjartr Svabar directing you to the Kickstarter backer adventures. Look for "Free Titles from Schwalb Entertainment at DriveThruRPG.com". 

These are the titles that are available: 

• By way of explanation, Nobody Dies was included in the rulebook but is excerpted here for convenience. The other three adventures follow on from those events in sequence.
• Eventually, the Thought and Memory Saga will comprise 11 adventures and a full campaign. 
• The Intro (the one with the ravens!) serves as a scene setter. Would-be GMS should start their campaign here! If you plan on playing the campaign, you should be aware: SPOILERS!

Hello!

As I mentioned last week, Rob's team (including the inestimable Kara Hamilton), have been reweaving and rethreading the rulebook like veritable Norns.

1) If you were a PDF backer, you'll have received an email from Schwalb Entertainment this morning providing you with instructions of how to grab your "backer preview" copy of When the Wolf Comes from Drive Thru RPG. If you haven't got said email and think you should have, ping me at [email protected].

2) Is it the final, finished article? Not quite yet. We've some work to go on the end chapters, and some extras like clickable chapters. But, since it is almost exactly a year since we launched the Kickstarter, we didn't want to hold things up any longer! If you look back over some of the early preview chapters I sent out across the months, you'll be able to appreciate the difference. And with the Drive Thru RPG log in, you'll always have access to the most up-to-date version of the game, with fixes and errata addressed.

3) Of course, as soon as we have a hi-res version finished for print, we'll get that going too. Don't think it's been forgotten! 

4) Now, my job today is to get the other digital material out, like the books and comics. It won't be coming all in one fell swoop, but it will be arriving in chunks over the next little while (Rob, for example, is reviewing the three bonus adventures in between drafts of Weird Wizard).

5) In the meantime, if you feel inspired, go check out the new www.vikingverse.com website. I've had to set up a bunch of things from scratch after switching publisher and am happy to take on board any feedback.

Now, as I mentioned we are very, very close. When I switched over to working with Rob last month, he cast a critical eye over the book as it was and suggested some improvements. His crack team of demons are busy making those right now. In fact, we did a big review yesterday but then ran into Canada Day/Independence Day long weekend. We'll finish carving the runes next week and then start the process of getting everything out. Thanks for bearing with us.

In the meantime, I spruced up www.vikingverse.com, and embedded all the Old Norse phrases. So, while you wait these last few days go get a headstart on rolling your r'sss.

Some wolf-sized, monstrous news...as you can read here, When the Wolf Comes is moving over to Schwalb Entertainment!

Now, as momentous as the change of publisher is, we're going to have to ask for a little bit of extra patience. It's all been a bit of a whirlwind.

• The good thing is the book just needs a final check over from Rob's team. It's all ready to go.
• All the digital offerings will then be coming out in short order, including a bonus adventure or two.
• We will have to migrate physical books from the warehouse, organise the print run and transition Backerkit.
• In the meantime, we are soon to launch onto DriveThruRPG to help galvanise support for the title.
• We'll be distributing codes for you to get your PDF copies ASAP!
